We offer a comprehensive, multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment for common liver disorders such as:
  • Chronic viral hepatitis B and C
  • Alcoholic liver disease
  • Cirrhosis
  • Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
  • Drug-induced liver injury
  • Hepatocellular carcinoma
  • Autoimmune disorders such as autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis, and primary sclerosing cholangitis
  • Metabolic disorders such as hemochromatosis and Wilson’s disease
  • Patient may also be referred for evaluation of:
  • Elevated liver enzymes
  • Liver biopsy
  • Liver transplant evaluation in conjunction with Columbia University Medical Center
  • Specialized testing can be performed such as:
  • Serologic testing to evaluate for liver fibrosis
  • Endoscopic evaluation for variceal screening
We also offer coordination with multidisciplinary teams for:
  • Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization, radiofrequency ablation, and radioactive bead implantation by Interventional Radiologists for hepatocellular carcinoma
  • Non-surgical treatments by Oncologists for hepatocellular carcinoma
