Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone who is willing to devote time and energy to the Hospital is welcome. Winthrop welcomes Volunteers of all ages – young adults, adults and senior citizens. Applicants for volunteer service must meet basic requirements, including Winthrop-University Hospital’s health and immunization standards.
Why Consider Volunteering?
While enriching the lives of people as they interact, share and communicate with patients, visitors and staff, Winthrop’s Volunteers discover the challenge, joy and sense of well-being that is derived from helping others. As a member of Winthrop’s dynamic healthcare team, they are respected, recognized and appreciated.
