Donald Brand, Ph.D. Director Dr. Brand works with clinical investigators to develop research protocols and provide methodological advice. He previously held the faculty positions of professor of medicine and pediatrics at New York Medical College and served as the director of primary care research. Dr. Brand holds a Ph.D. in decision sciences from Yale University and a master's degree in history of science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.	Donald A. Brand, Ph.D. Director
Shahidul Islam, M.P.H. Biostatistician Mr. Islam provides statistical consultation and performs data analyses, including power and samples size calculations, in collaboration with faculty and housestaff conducting research. He was previously a software quality assurance manager at Montefiore Medical Center, working closely with the development team of a real-time patient tracking software program called Clinical Looking Glass. Patricia Patrick, Dr.P.H. Epidemiologist Dr. Patrick works with clinical investigators in developing research protocols and data collection instruments such as surveys and evaluations. She provides methodological advice during the initial stages of research project planning. She holds a faculty position at New York Medical College, where she has taught epidemiological methods.
