Brief Resume
Completing the Medical Scientis Training Program at SUNY Stony Brook, Dr. Levine earned his MD and PhD degrees. He completed residency training at SUNY Stony Brook in Pediatrics and fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. Dr. Levine joined the Winthrop faculty in July of 2009 and mentors fellows in pediatric endocrinology as well as serving on the fellowship oversight committees for several fellows in other divisions within pediatrics.
Description of Research Interests/Activities
Dr. Levine's current interests include vitamin D and its effects on autoimmune diseases and obesity.

My practice includes pediatric patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, obesity, thyroid problems, issues with growth and puberty, and water and electrolyte imbances.
