PROSTATE CANCER TREATMENT
Winthrop University Hospital Clinical Trials Center is conducting a clinical research study for the treatment of locally recurrent prostate cancer after been treated with radiation therapy ( x-ray treatments).
Volunteers needed for a Recurrent Prostate Cancer Clinical Research Study. The purpose of this research study is to test the effectiveness of an investigational device using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound treatment to destroy prostate cancer. Eligible participants will receive study-related medical examinations, research treatment and laboratory tests at no cost while they are participating in this research study. Compensation may be provided for time and travel.
To be eligible for the study, participants must; ¥ Be 40 - 85 years of age ¥ Be diagnosed with recurrent prostate cancer
