Volunteers needed for a partial onset seizure research

Summary

Winthrop University Hospital Clinical Trials Center and the Division of Neurology is seeking volunteers for a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication in the conversion of patients from their prior medication(s) to a new single medication.

Description

This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug, for patients with partial onset seizures. Qualified participants will receive study-related medical exams, research medication and laboratory tests at no cost, while participating in the research study. Compensation for time and travel may also be provided.

Inclusion/exclusion

To be eligible for the study, you must: *Be at least 16 to 75 years old *Have a diagnoses of partial onset seizures *Be taking one or two other antiepileptic medication(s).
