Teaching Rotation Curriculum

  • Daily informal/formal small group teaching sessions with Stony Brook University medical students
  • Large group didactic presentations (visual diagnosis and one formal lecture)
  • Leading an evidence-based medicine journal club
  • Leading inpatient teaching rounds during the last week of the rotation
  • Giving feedback to a junior resident and medical student
  • Supervision of clinical procedures and complete history and physical performed by medical students and junior residents
  • Writing a personal reflection paper
