Pastoral Care

Winthrop-University Hospital's Pastoral Care and Education Department

It is widely believed that healing is more than a physical process. Emotional and spiritual health are vital as well. As part of Winthrop's commitment to "Care without compromise," the Hospital offers pastoral care to patients of all faiths and their families.

In addition, the Hospital can assist patients in reaching out to their own personal clergy.

If a patient has an urgent need to see a spiritual leader, the patient or their family may dial the hospital Operator at "0" from within the hospital, or dial the Information Desk at 633-0333.
