  • The Winthrop Research Institute, currently under construction, is a $95 million, 95,000 square foot, five story state-of-the-science center which will centralize Winthrop’s investigative endeavors under one roof. The institute includes laboratories, a clinical trial center and classrooms for our Stony Brook medical students. 
  • Our brand new comprehensive simulation center allows residents to develop surgical skills using virtual hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. The center also houses high-technology mannequins including Laedral SimMom and SimBaby, with which the residents can practice teamwork and leadership in monthly obstetrical drills.
