The excitement and grandeur of a Venetian carnival set the stage for Winthrop's annual fund-raising gala.
(L-R) Hospital President and Chief Executive Officer Daniel P. Walsh and his wife, Ann, Gala Co-chairs Whitney and Jeanne Pidot and Frank A. Monteleone, MD, and his wife, Rosemary, and EAB Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Edward Travaglianti and his wife, Patricia, were among the more than 700 guests who enjoyed the event. In addition to the lavish dinner and dazzling entertainment, the evening featured casino-style gambling, exciting raffle prizes, and dancing in the opulently decorated lobby of EAB Plaza in Uniondale. Proceeds from the successful "Carnival in Venice" will be used to support Hospital programs.
