Winthrop, a designated Community Training Center, in association with the American Heart Association, provides courses in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Basic Life Support (PBLS), both to employees and the external community.

Instructors are henceforth required to affiliate with a Community Training Center.
