    		• ...Winthrop's Pulmonary Research Section Tests New Pharmaceuticals... Patient Participants Receive Cutting-Edge Treatments and Medication

    The Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Division at Winthrop is currently conducting clinical trials sponsored by major national pharmaceutical companies.

    Candidates are selected for each trial based on specific diagnostic and clinical factors, specific to the disease or condition undergoing study. Participants should be in active treatment for the selected diagnosis. Currently, there are opportunities for participation in the following trials. All research is performed within the Hospital and is strictly confidential. For further information, call Lydia Guclu, RN at 516-663-4694.
