Winthrop-University Hospital was proud to sponsor Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano’s 2012
“Welcome Back Warriors” All-Veterans Jobs and Support Services Fair on May, 22, 2012 at the
Physical Education Complex of Nassau Community College (NCC).
The fair was a terrific success, with representatives from companies seeking job applicants in
attendance, along with experts on the GI Bill and other services for returning veterans. Advisors from
Winthrop and other organizations were also available to offer guidance on improving resume writing
and interviewing skills. Attendees had the opportunity to network with recruiters from dozens of
companies and gain valuable insight into career opportunities.
