Once Again, The Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop Earns High Rankings
The Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop-University Hospital has been named to U.S. News
& World Report’s 2012-13 Best Children’s Hospitals rankings. Following a lengthy clinical survey,
The Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop was recognized for the
second year in a row for providing high quality care in the specialty of
pediatric diabetes & endocrinology and, new for 2012-13, excellence in
the specialty of pediatric urology.
“Winthrop-University Hospital deserves high praise for its accomplishments,”
said Health Rankings Editor Avery Comarow. “Winthrop has a
reservoir of dedication and expertise that helps the sickest kids. Our goal at
U.S. News is to identify and call attention to pediatric centers like this one.”

At Winthrop, award-winning care carries across a range of medical specialties. The Hospital
has also once again been recognized as one of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Regional Hospitals
in the New York Metro area with 11 high-performing specialties.
