Astoria Federal Savings Shows Support for Winthrop’s Child Life Program
Hospitalization can be a very frightening
experience for a child of any age.
That’s where Winthrop’s Child Life
Program can make all the difference.
Thanks to a $5,000 grant from
Astoria Federal Savings, children at
Winthrop, from toddlers to teens, can
continue to benefit from this remarkable
program that promotes effective
coping through play, preparation,
education and self-expression activities.
