A Record Breaking Silver Anniversary |
|
On May 10, 2010, Winthrop celebrated
its 25th Annual Golf Tournament at
The Creek and Meadow Brook Clubs
with record-breaking success. The
event attracted 320 golfers, more than
300 attendees at the evening reception
and awards ceremony, and raised
over $553,000 for Winthrop’s
Research Institute.
Individual low gross winners included Brian Nelsen at the Meadow Brook Club and Steve Greco at the Creek. The Merrill Lynch foursome – Gary Forchesto, Jay Sessa, Tom Pistone and Wayne Mulato – placed first in the Low Gross Team category at the Meadow Brook; the Pall Corporation Team – Roberto Perez, Steve Greco, Jonathan Pratt and Russell Jones – took Low Gross at The Creek. Physician Low Gross scores were earned by Philip Ragno, MD, at The Meadow Brook Club and Vincent DiGregorio, MD, at The Creek.
