Jay�s World Foundation Shows Continued Support for Winthrop

Ralph Napolitano, Executive Director of the Jay�s World Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc. (center) presents a check for $10,000 to Mark Weinblatt, MD, Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Winthrop and Director of the Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) and Linda Sweeney, Practice Manager of the CCFK.
Jay�s World Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc. recently made a $10,000 donation to the Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) at Winthrop-University Hospital in support of the Center�s mission to provide patients with hope and healing.

Jay�s World was founded in 1994 by Ralph and Mary Ann Napolitano following their son Jason�s (�Jay�) successful treatment for leukemia. To date, the Foundation has contributed close to $600,000 to Winthrop � which has funded the creation of The Jay�s World Children�s Cancer Unit in Winthrop�s Hagedorn Pediatric Inpatient Center and the complete blood count (CBC) Laboratory at the CCFK.
