Healthcare professionals from Hananatsu University
School of Nursing in Shizuoka, Japan, recently visited
the Hagedorn Pediatric Inpatient Center in Winthrop’s
Children’s Medical Center and Winthrop’s Cancer Center
for Kids (CCFK) to learn more about pediatric oncology
services at the Hospital. At the CCFK, they heard about
Project S.O.A.R., which provides School re-entry and
Ongoing Academic Resources to children during and after
treatment for pediatric cancer. Present for the tour of
