Balmy spring weather and picture-perfect blue skies set the stage at Winthrop's 23rd Annual Golf Tournament, held on May 5 at The Creek and Meadow Brook Clubs. With more than 300 participants in attendance of this highly anticipated annual event, this year's golf outing proved to be a record success - raising $430,000 for pediatric and adult emergency services at Winthrop.

In Locust Valley at The Creek, Ralph Bisceglia, Jim O'Connor, Cormac Synnott and Jim Furey placed first in the low-gross team category with a score of 67. At the Meadow Brook Club in Jericho, Rudy Brown, Kevin Delaney, Chris Karkota and Rob Salvatico came in first with a low-gross score of 70. Individual low-gross winners included Clark Gillies with a score of 69 at The Creek, and Steve Ruoff with a score of 74 at the Meadow Brook Club.

At the conclusion of the day, golfers and guests enjoyed a lively cocktail reception and awards ceremony at the Meadow Brook Club.
