    The Pat Lyons Foundation, dedicated to honoring the memory of Patrick John Lyons, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001, recently presented a check for $60,000 to Winthrop's Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) in support of programs that help patients during and after treatment for childhood cancer. The Foundation funded the creation of the Generation of Survivors program at Winthrop's CCFK and this generous donation, generated by the 5th Annual Lt. Patrick Lyons Golf Classic, brings their total support of Winthrop's CCFK to $280,000.
