The Pat Lyons Foundation funded the creation of an innovative new program for
survivors of childhood cancer at Winthrop-University Hospital's Cancer Center
for Kids. This long-term program, Generation of Survivors, follows childhood
cancer survivors
through
adulthood to
monitor their
health and to
help them deal
with potential
late effects
from life-saving
treatments that
were used to
treat their cancers.
To date,
the Foundation
has donated
$220,000 toward the
creation and support of
this valuable program.
