    New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District - Merrick) capped off his eighth annual toy drive for children by spending time with young patients at Winthrop-University Hospital in early January.

    During the "Extend the Holidays" event, New York State Senator Michael Balboni (7th Senate District - East Williston) joined Senator Fuschillo to help deliver truckloads of new, unwrapped toys to Winthrop's Hagedorn Pediatric Inpatient Center.

    "This is a valuable and worthwhile holiday tradition that brings smiles to the faces of children who need a little extra care," explained Senator Fuschillo. "Through the continued generosity of local residents and organizations, we can spread cheer to these kids throughout the year."
