Winthrop-University Hospital is privileged to have thoughtful and considerate
support from members of a unique
group of donors: The Guardian Society.
Society members have arranged to perpetuate Winthrop's tradition of superior
patient care and commitment to a welcoming and world class healing
environment with bequests, charitable
trusts or gifts of life insurance.
Most members choose to preserve
assets during their lifetime by including Winthrop in a will or testamentary
trust, while others enjoy current taxsaving and estate planning benefits
from charitable giving vehicles tailored to individual circumstances.
Many Guardian Society members
share a common desire to memorialize annual contributions and assure
future funding for a favored program
or service. Their commitments may be
designated to assist specific services,
including the Chaplaincy Program
Endowment, which ensures the continuation of pastoral care services
addressing the spiritual needs of
patients and their families.
Making a Guardian Society commitment is a special way of planning
for Winthrop's future along with your
own. If you are interested in joining
the Guardian Society, we would be
pleased to send you information about
including Winthrop in a will or estate
plan. To find out more, check the
appropriate line on the enclosed
response envelope and return it with
your contact information, or call Barry
Cosel-Pieper, Director of Development,
at (516) 663-3398.
