Mother Nature contributed a beautiful day for Winthrop's 20th Annual Golf Tournament held on May 9th at the Creek and Meadow Brook Clubs.
More than 280 golfers played at the two spectacular golf courses in support of Winthrop's Institute for Family Care, Women's Health and Children's Programs. The participants helped raise a healthy $327,000.
A respected member of the business community and valued advocate for Winthrop, Kevin T. Curran, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Cablevision Systems Corporation, served as the event's Chairman, directing the 2005 Golf Committee's effort to benefit the Hospital's outstanding programs and services.
