Winthrop welcomed more than 650 Hispanic community members--many of whom face financial challenges or language barriers--to its 4th Annual Hispanic Health Fair, 'Diga Si en 2005,' on May 18th.

The health fair, which is part of Winthrop's initiative, Diga Si a la Buena Salud (Say Yes to Good Health), included free health screenings, hospital tours, health insurance information, Latin food and music, and family photos. Since its 2002 inception, the program has helped hundreds of medically underserved families obtain access to vital healthcare resources.
