Winthrop recently received a generous bequest from a grateful former patient and donor to the Hospital's Annual Campaign. Her bequest was a simple remainder interest in the balance of her estate after all obligations were met. It was an especially meaningful gift and a wonderfully considerate addition to Winthrop's philanthropic initiatives that help offset the costs of providing new, innovative programs and technology.

The Hospital was deeply touched by her thoughtful gesture. While honored to receive this testamentary gift, we were disappointed that we were not able to thank this very special donor during her lifetime. We would appreciate the opportunity to offer thanks for remembering Winthrop in your will or estate plan.
