    The eighth annual "A Night at the Opera - Big Voices for Precious Children" raised $46,000 to benefit Winthrop's Child Life Program. More than 150 guests enjoyed the cultural event held in the Hospital's New Life Conference Center, which was transformed into an elegant venue complete with candlelight and savory cuisine.

    Jennifer Hines, mezzo-soprano; Caren Levine, pianist; Tonna Miller, soprano; and Jason Grant, bass-baritone, amazed and entertained the audience with beautiful performances. Topping off the night, guests had the chance of winning one of 43 raffle gifts.. the chance of winning one of 43 raffle gifts.
