You will want to mark your calendar for this exciting kick-off to the holiday season!

Entertainment Unlimited of Rockville Centre will transform The New Hyde Park Inn into The Lucky Club and Speakeasy. The night will feature an atmosphere reminiscent of the Prohibition Era. Blackjack, craps, roulette, poker and other gaming tables will provide fun and entertainment for the evening. The New Hyde Park Inn will offer a fabulous cocktail party featuring an open bar, a wide variety of food stations and appetizers, plus desserts, coffee and cordials.

As part of the festivities, Twigs will conduct its popular Live Auction, Silent Auction and Chinese Auction. As in the past, there is always something for everyone. Exciting trips, golf clubs and rounds of golf, autographed memorabilia, shopping sprees, spa and salon gift certificates, restaurant gift certificates and more have been some of the offerings in the past.

All funds raised by Twigs are donated to Winthrop-University Hospital. This year their pledge is funding the entry lobby/welcome desk, and the family lounge waiting area in the new Pediatric Inpatient Center. Twigs also sponsors the Pediatric Project, which offers the patients in the Pediatric Unit one afternoon of fun and games, arts & crafts and other events each month. Their continuing pledge is focused on improving the stay of patients and their families while at Winthrop.
