  • New York's Magazine's recent survey of the "Best Doctors in New York" named 11 physicians from Winthrop-University Hospital to its 2002 list. Chosen by their medical peers, Winthrop physicians, in specialties ranging from pediatrics to cardiac surgery, were ranked among the top 1,500 doctors throughout the five boroughs, Nassau and Westchester counties, northern New Jersey and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
