"SCHOOL ISSUES WITH CHILDREN AND EPILEPSY" - FREE PROGRAM NOVEMBER 4

The Winthrop Comprehensive Epilepsy Center will offer a free educational program, “School Issues with Children and Epilepsy,” on Monday, November 4, 2013, from 7 to 8 PM. The program will be held at the Winthrop Wellness Pavilion, located at 1300 Franklin Avenue, Suite ML-5 in Garden City.

Janet Romeo, Coordinator of Community Education at the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island, will provide insight on epilepsy and seizure disorder awareness.

Admission is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. Please call (516) 663-4593 to register.

Winthrop’s Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is recognized by the NAEC (National Association of Epilepsy Center) as a level 4 Epilepsy Center, meaning it has the highest level of medical and surgical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.
