The program will be held at the Mineola Community Center, 155 Washington Avenue in Mineola (one block south of Jericho Turnpike, between Mineola Boulevard and Willis Avenue), and will offer up-to-date information on the association between high blood pressure and heart disease risk.
Justine S. Lachmann, MD, Director of the Congestive Heart Failure Program at Winthrop, will discuss “Hypertension During Peri- and Postmenopause.” Marilyn M. Chengot, MD, Cardiology Fellow in the Department of Medicine at Winthrop, will discuss “Preeclampsia and Hypertension.”
