“HEALTHY BABIES: THE FIRST YEAR” TOPIC OF FREE LECTURE SPONSORED BY WINTHROP-UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ON MAY 14
Expectant and new parents are invited to bring their questions with them to a one-evening seminar sponsored by Winthrop-University Hospital, “Healthy Babies: The First Year,” on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The program will be held at the Mineola Community Center, located at 155 Washington Avenue in Mineola (one block south of Jericho Turnpike, between Mineola Boulevard and Willis Avenue) and will highlight what parents need to know about their new arrival – from birth through the first year of life.
Jamie Lanzillotta, DO, Attending Pediatrician at Winthrop, will discuss topics such as Newborn Testing at the Hospital, How to Choose a Pediatrician, Breastfeeding vs. Bottle Feeding, Vaccinations, Car Safety and more. A question and answer period will be included.
