WINTHROP-UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLINICAL TRIALS CENTER SEEKING PEOPLE WITH PERSISTENT ASTHMA

Winthrop-University Hospital’s Clinical Trials Center and Marcella Aquino, MD, attending physician in Winthrop’s Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology, are seeking people who have been diagnosed with persistent asthma to participate in a clinical research study of two types of asthma control investigational medication. The study will compare the safety and effectiveness of the medications taken in combination or taken alone.

To be eligible for the study, participants must be 12 years of age or older and must have had persistent asthma for at least one year.

Eligible participants will receive study-related medical care and study-related investigational medications at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
