“AN EVENING OF NATURAL SELF-CARE” OFFERED BY WINTHROP-UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL FOR WOMEN DIAGNOSED WITH GYNECOLOGICAL CANCER
Women dealing with gynecological cancer are invited to a special presentation offered by Winthrop-University Hospital on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, “An Evening of Natural Self-Care for Women Diagnosed with Gynecological Cancer.” The program will highlight natural practices that help reduce fatigue, relieve stress and restore vitality. It will be held at the Winthrop Wellness Pavilion, Suite ML-5, at 1300 Franklin Avenue in Garden City.
Mary-Beth Charno, RN, BSN, Oncology Nurse, Holistic Nurse, Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Breema Bodywork Instructor and Practitioner, will explain how the use of chair yoga, meditation, aromatherapy and breathwork can help bring your body, mind and spirit back to its natural state of balance and harmony.
