WINTHROP NAMES THREE GARDEN CITY RESIDENTS TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of Winthrop-University Hospital is a committed group of community and professional leaders who are charged with supporting the mission of Winthrop-University Hospital and setting the direction for the Hospital’s continued growth and expansion.
Recently, three new members were elected to serve as part of this group, whose generosity and dedication carries on a legacy of commitment begun by the Hospital’s first Trustees in 1896.
Michelle Clark was recently named Head of U.S. Consumer/Retail Specialty Sales at Morgan Stanley. Prior to her current role, Ms. Clark was a member of Morgan Stanley’s North America Equity Research team for eight years, covering the Retail Broadlines sector.
Ms. Clark has consistently been recognized as a top equity analyst on Wall Street by external polls. In 2011, she ranked as the #1 stock picker in Multiline Retail by Starmine. In addition, she has ranked in the top 3 of the Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” in Retailers: Broadline & Apparel. Ms. Clark has made numerous television appearances on Bloomberg Television, CNBC, and other networks, sharing her retail investment forecasts with the world.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Ms. Clark covered the retail and healthcare sectors at Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a member of its fixed-income portfolio management team.
