WINTHROP-UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES 2012 GOLF TOURNAMENT

David C. Leviton, Senior Vice President of CBRE, and Chairman of Winthrop-University Hospital’s 2012 Golf Tournament Committee.
David C. Leviton, Senior Vice President of CBRE to Chair Event

Winthrop-University Hospital’s 27th Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, May 14 at The Creek and Meadow Brook Golf Clubs, and Winthrop is pleased to announce that David C. Leviton, Senior Vice President of CBRE – Long Island’s leading commercial brokerage firm – will Chair the event.

Winthrop’s annual Golf Tournament is one of the major fundraisers of the year for the Hospital; last year the event raised $534,000 in support of the development of a visionary and robust basic, translational and outcomes Research Institute at Winthrop. The participation of community members and Hospital supporters is vital to the success of this event, and Mr. Leviton has demonstrated both the enthusiasm and commitment that are sure to foster an engaged Golf Committee to help the Hospital achieve its fundraising goals.

With more than 28 years of professional experience, Mr. Leviton is one of Long Island’s top-ranked commercial real estate brokers. He has an unparalleled track record as a leading deal-maker, having been involved in over 600 transactions – representing both landlords and tenants –and successfully executing the real estate plans of numerous high-profile tenants.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Commercial-Industrial Brokers of Long Island (CIBS), Mr. Leviton is an active member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. A resident of East Setauket, Mr. Leviton received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University and attended New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate – the premier institution in New York City serving the greater real estate and building industries.
