WINTHROP-UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLINICAL TRIALS CENTER SEEKING WOMEN WITH OVARIAN, FALLOPIAN TUBE OR PERITONEAL CANCER FOR CLINICAL RESEARCH STUDY
Winthrop-University Hospital’s Clinical Trials Center and Jeannine Villella, DO, from the Department of Gynecologic Oncology, are seeking women with advanced stage or recurrent ovarian, fallopian tubal or peritoneal cancer for a clinical research study to see if an investigational vaccine is safe and effective.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be diagnosed with Stage II-IV ovarian, fallopian tube or peritoneal cancer, and must have completed treatment consisting of up to eight cycles of chemotherapy after initial surgery. Or, participants must have recurrent ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer and must have completed chemotherapy for their recurrent disease. Eligible participants will receive the study-related vaccine and study-related medical care at no cost to them.
