WINTHROP’S DIVISION OF NEUROLOGY OFFERS FREE” LEGAL ISSUES” LECTURE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS
Winthrop-University Hospital’s Division of Neurology is offering a free lecture, “Legal Issues,” for patients with neurological disorders, such as stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and epilepsy, on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 7:00 PM. The program will address legal and financial concerns common to individuals dealing with a serious illness. It will be held at the Winthrop Community Outreach Center, located at 101 Mineola Boulevard at the corner of Second Street in Mineola.
Jayson Wolfe, Esq., an attorney specializing the representation of the disabled, as well as in Elder Law, Estate Planning, Trusts, Guardianship Proceedings, Government Benefits, Disability Planning and Medicaid, will provide information that will help attendees plan for their needs. Susan Quigley, CFP, is a certified financial planner who will also be available to help assist attendees with any financial concerns.
