FREE PROGRAM SPONSORED BY WINTHROP'S BREAST HEALTH CENTER - “FINDING STRENGTH TOGETHER”
Winthrop-University Hospital’s Breast Health Center announced that it will hold a four-week innovative program, “Finding Strength Together: A New Tool for Couples,” starting Monday, March 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The series will be held at the Winthrop Wellness Pavilion, 1300 Franklin Avenue, Suite ML-5 in Garden City and is designed to provide strategies to help couples tackle the challenge of coping with breast cancer. Sessions and topics are scheduled as follows: March 7 – Solving Problems and Managing Issues; March 14 – Improving Communication; March 21 – Exploring Your Role as Caregiver or Survivor; and March 28 – Integrating Problem-solving into your “New Normal.”
