LEGISLATOR DENNIS DUNNE AND THE KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS, DELIVER TOYS TO WINTHROP PATIENTS
Legislator Dennis Dunne, Sr. and the Knights of Pythias, Mid Island Lodge No. 828 in Massapequa, recently visited Winthrop-University Hospital’s Hagedorn Pediatric Inpatient Center to spread holiday cheer to the Center’s pediatric patients. Working with the John Theissen Foundation for Children, the Knights of Phythias distributed the toys as part of their annual visit to local hospitals. Present at the donation were (l.-r.) Herb Gold, Chairman, Public Relations, Knights of Pythias; Imogene Harrington, Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) at Winthrop-University Hospital; John F. Collins, President and Chief Executive Officer of Winthrop-University Hospital; Nassau County Legislator Dennis Dunne, Sr.; John P. Broder, Vice President for External Affairs and Development at Winthrop-University Hospital; and Susan Collins, Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) at Winthrop-University Hospital.
