John F. Collins, President & CEO of Winthrop-University Hospital, leads by example and shows his commitment to saving lives through blood donation at a recent Winthrop blood drive.
Mineola, NY – In a continuous effort to save lives through blood donations, Winthrop-University Hospital will host several blood drives open to staff and members of the community. “We are proud to support the New York Blood Center in their ongoing efforts to give the gift of life,” said John F. Collins, President & CEO of Winthrop. “Donating blood is one of the most important things that we can do to help others in need; this simple act takes just a few moments yet, its impact is long-lasting.” The following blood drives will take place at Winthrop-University Hospital:
