ROTARY CLUB OF WILLISTON PARK SPREADS HOLIDAY CHEER AT WINTHROP’S CANCER CENTER FOR KIDS
Mineola, NY – Once again, the generosity of the Rotary Club of Williston Park helped make the holidays at Winthrop-University Hospital’s Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) Outpatient Center extra special for young patients. Recently, several members of the Rotary Club visited Winthrop’s CCFK to deliver toys for patients being treated throughout this holiday season. Present at the donation were (l.-r.) Williston Park Rotary Club members Ray Haller and Nancy Zolezzi; Mark Weinblatt, MD, Chief of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Winthrop and Director of Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids Outpatient Center; Rotary Club members Frank Galalis and William E. Cherry, Jr.; and John P. Broder, Vice President, External Affairs & Development at Winthrop.Winthrop’s Cancer Center for Kids Outpatient Center provides comprehensive medical and psychosocial services to children with cancer and blood disorders in a warm and nurturing child-friendly environment.
