“I am truly honored to be recognized by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the nation’s top Clinical Informaticists,” said Ms. Gaffney. “This award is a testament to Winthrop’s commitment to being leaders in the use of health information technology to promote patient safety and quality care.”

Ms. Gaffney was named Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services in 2010.

Ms. Gaffney earned a Master of Health Science degree from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University.
