WINTHROP'S CANCER CENTER FOR KIDS RECEIVES $5,000 GRANT FROM ASTORIA FEDERAL SAVINGS

Mineola, NY – The Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) at Winthrop-University Hospital recently received a $5,000 grant from Astoria Federal Savings. The grant will support the Generation of Survivors – The Pat Lyons Long Term Follow-Up Program, a unique program that follows childhood cancer survivors through adulthood to monitor their health and help them cope with potential after-effects of treatment, long after their therapy has ended.
