MICHAEL MAGRO FOUNDATION HOSTS RECEPTION FOR SUPPORTERS OF WINTHROP’S CANCER CENTER FOR KIDS

Mineola, NY – Friends and supporters of the Michael Magro Foundation gathered at the Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) at Winthrop-University Hospital on March 23, 2009 for a special reception to recognize their ongoing support and introduce them to the CCFK’s beautiful new child- and family-friendly Outpatient Center. The Foundation was established by Terrie and Paul Magro of Hicksville in honor of their son Michael, who they lost to leukemia in 2004, to provide vital support services to children with cancer and their families at Winthrop.
