Welcome to Winthrop-University Hospital's Newsroom. The Newsroom was created by the Department of External Affairs to offer members of the news media easy access to up-to-date information about the Hospital and to increase the public's understanding of health issues that affect our community.
Winthrop-University Hospital's Office of Public Affairs in the Department of External Affairs is the main link to local, regional, national and international news media in answering questions about the hospital, locating an expert spokesperson, or obtaining more information about a news release or event.
