Dr. Nejat is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also an Assistance clinical Instructor of Urology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Urology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. His postgraduate training includes residencies in urology and surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia Presbyterian Campus, and he earned his medical degree at the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. His numerous professional publications cover a variety of topics, including “The role of mannitol in alleviating renal injury during extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy” in the Journal of Urology; “Cure of undifferentiated small cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder with M-VAC chemotherapy” in Urologic Oncology, and “A prospective analysis of time to normalization of serum testosterone levels after the withdrawal of androgen deprivation therapy” in the Journal of Urology.
