Division of Palliative Medicine and Bioethics

Palliative care services are for patients with any type of serious or life-threatening illness. It aims to relieve suffering and reduce the effects of illness experienced by a patient and family throughout the course of illness. Specialists in palliative care work as a team to manage symptoms and provide psychosocial and spiritual support to the patient and family, while helping to navigate medical choices.

Continuity of Care

Palliative care services are offered through inpatient consultation and our outpatient practice. Our team can work with you to establish a plan of care that extends beyond the hospital and evolves as your illness changes.
