The Child Life Program at the Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop University Hospital is a non- refundable program which provides educational, therapeutic and recreational play opportunities to pediatric patients, and their siblings, both at bedside and in our activity centers to promote self-expression. These sessions allow children to explore medical equipment, ask questions, to socialize with their peers and gain a sense of mastery over their personal experience.
