Lung Care : Asthma Center : Mission

Our Research Mission is to remain at the forefront of advancing physicians' knowledge about the causes, prevention, and treatment of asthma. Our Clinical Trials team has published extensively on a variety of subjects addressing questions related to the subject of Asthma. We are actively involved with a large number of pharmaceutical companies as we attempt to create better and safer asthma medications.

Our Educational Mission remains a central focus of our interest. Directed at helping patients, their families, and their support systems (school nurses, teachers, coaches, school bus drivers, companies with occupational asthma risks) to more effectively assist the asthmatic is dealing with his or her disease. Our educational programs are typically open to the public, and are posted through the Community Events link. We have also included links to other websites that can provide additional information.
